This new series invites viewers to experience Texas through the perspective of a storyteller. Step into the writers’ room—and experience Texas through a storyteller’s state of mind.
Each episode transforms select Texas Monthly articles into visual experiences, combining cinematic footage from across the state with thoughtful, in-studio interviews with the stories’ writers.

Spring Season Explores Texas Stories Starting in April
The upcoming season, comprising 17 episodes explores themes as rich and textured as the magazine itself—change, resilience, roots, and discovery. Texas Monthly Presents: The Story is a partnership between two iconic Texas brands, the magazine and the collection of PBS stations across our state.
Each episode will air across Texas stations, and will be available to stream on PBS.org and the PBS app. Check local listings.
