Texas Monthly Partnership, Untold Texas Stories Made for Viewers Like You

A Storytelling Journey on Texas PBS.

Texas Monthly and Texas PBS announce an exciting new partnership with the upcoming launch of Texas Monthly Presents, a captivating new docuseries that brings the magazine’s award-winning journalism from the page to the screen and invites viewers to experience Texas through the perspective of a storyteller. Each episode transforms select Texas Monthly articles into brand-new visual experiences, combining cinematic footage from across the state with thoughtful, in-studio interviews with the stories’ writers.

The inagural season, The Story, premieres across Texas PBS stations in May 2025 with a four-episode run, and it returns in the fall with 13 brand-new episodes. Each 30-minute episode consists of multiple, distinct segments that share a common theme despite cutting across different topics, locations, and characters.
