Long before USO tours were a household name, a music teacher in Beaumont, Texas was quietly building something extraordinary. From 1942 to 1972, over 1,500 young women known as the Melody Maids traveled to military bases and hospitals around the world under the direction of Eloise Milam, whose guiding principles were Morals, Manners, and Music. This documentary captures their story through the firsthand accounts of surviving Melody Maids, paired with memoir photos, diary entries, and news clippings from the era.
