One of Texas’s most iconic roadside landmarks gets its own symphony — and now its own documentary. To celebrate the Amarillo Symphony’s 100th anniversary, Grammy-winning composer Michael Daugherty was commissioned to create an original piece inspired by the legendary Cadillac Ranch installation on Interstate 40. The film breaks down that performance and explores the musical and pop-culture influences that shaped Daugherty’s work.
