    Artificial intelligence is transforming Texas in ways few people fully see. In Tex Machina, energy expert Dr. Michael E. Webber examines the enormous electricity and water demands driving the AI boom. Directed by Emmy-winning filmmaker Mat Hames, the film travels across Texas—from data centers and oil fields to research labs, wind farms, and small towns. With cinematic footage and a grounded perspective, Tex Machina explores whether Texas can meet this extraordinary demand while protecting its power grid, water resources, and communities, while considering both the opportunities and risks of AI.

Artificial intelligence is reshaping Texas faster than most residents realize, and Tex Machina is here to explain how. Following renowned energy expert Dr. Michael E.
